Boston Police: 2 Men Found Dead May Have Ingested Poison

Boston police are investigating whether the deaths of two men and the serious illness of a woman at a housing complex for the elderly and disabled may have been caused by something they recently consumed.

One man in his 60s was found dead Wednesday morning, and a second in his 50s was found Thursday morning. The woman, also in her 50s, was found seriously ill after a well-being check of her apartment Thursday morning. Authorities said the three were friends and foul play isn't suspected.

Boston Police Superintendent Daniel Linsky told reporters Thursday at the Roslyn Apartments the victims had similar symptoms and tests are being done to see if they ingested something toxic. Linsky said the woman was able to speak when she was taken to a hospital.

Housing authority officials said other tenants aren't in danger.
