Massachusetts is bracing for snow for the third weekend in a row.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch from Saturday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.

Forecasters lowered the expected snow accumulations on Friday afternoon, but still warned that heavy, wet snow could lead to downed tree branches and power outages.

The new forecast predicted four to six inches of snow inside Interstate 495 by Monday morning. Two to four inches were expected in Boston, and less than two inches on the South Coast and Cape Cod. Rain will mix with snow in some areas.

Many roads in the area are still impeded by piles of snow from a storm two weekends ago that dropped more than two feet in some places.
