Mother Killed, Children Hurt In Weston Crash

A woman was killed and her two children hurt in a crash on a ramp leading from the Massachusetts Turnpike to Route 95 in Weston.

State Police Lt. Daniel Richard says the three-car accident occurred just after 12:30 p.m. Saturday on the ramp from eastbound lanes of the Turnpike to Rt. 95 northbound.

Ana M. Espinal, 43, of Roslindale, died at the scene. Her children, ages 15 and 17, were transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center with minor injuries. There names were not released because they are minors.

People in the other two cars were not hurt.

State police investigators were working to determine the cause of the crash, and said alcohol was not involved.
