Celtics Introduce New Head Coach Stevens

The Celtics are beginning a new era with a revised roster and new head coach.

On Friday, the team introduced former Butler University coach Brad Stevens as the 17th head coach in franchise history.

Stevens said one of his immediate priorities would be to develop a rapport with point guard Rajon Rondo.

"I have so much respect for how he sees the basketball court, how he plays the game, his instinctual feel, and his intelligence," Stevens said during a press conference. "I'm looking forward to sitting down and learning from him"

The 36-year old-Stevens becomes the youngest head coach in the NBA.
