Suspect In Brockton Hammer Attack Described

Authorities have released a description of a man wanted in connection with the fatal hammer attack on a 74-year-old Pentecostal minister in Brockton.

The man they are looking for in connection with the bludgeoning death of Lee Harmon on Tuesday night is described as being between 16 and 29 years of age.

Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz said the suspect is a light-skinned Hispanic or Cape Verdean man between 5-feet-10 inches and 6-feet tall with a thin or athletic build, and a ponytail. At the time of the attack he had on black hooded sweat shirt, possibly with a white T-shirt underneath, light-colored shorts and black sneakers.

Cruz also a Red Sox baseball cap was found at the scene, but it was unclear whether it belonged to Harmon's assailant.
