Young Syrians living in the U.S. are working with several activist organizations to counter the cyber war the Syrian regime is waging.

Mohamad Al Bardan, 26, came to the U.S. two years ago to earn a master's degree from Northeastern University. He never returned to Syria because of the civil war. He now works for a tech firm here. Al Bardan joined WBUR's All Things Considered to discuss using technology to work against the Syrian government, and what it's like watching from afar as the U.S. considers a military strike.

This program aired on August 30, 2013.
