Previewing The Sox-Cardinals World Series

The World Series comes to Fenway Park this week when the Red Sox take on the Cardinals in Game 1 Wednesday night.

The teams last met in the 2004 World Series, when Boston swept St. Louis in four games to end the Sox' 86-year curse.

Some of the players remain today, including David Ortiz for the Sox and then-catcher, now-manager Mike Matheny for the Cardinals.

Sports writer Glenn Stout joined WBUR's Morning Edition to preview the series.
