We all remember nine years ago when the Red Sox faced the Cardinals in the World Series, sweeping in four games to crush the curse and end an 86-year championship drought.

But there is a longer history of matchups between the teams in the Fall Classic. The first time was in 1946. The second was in 1967, the climax of "The Impossible Dream" season.

At the dawn of another World Series between the Sox and the Cardinals, we speak with a member of that "Impossible Dream" team: former All-Star Red Sox pitcher Jim Lonborg.

This program aired on October 23, 2013.
