Medway Man Arrested After Accepting Drug Delivery
A 23-year-old Medway man has been arrested after allegedly accepting a delivery of a pound of the club drug Molly that had been shipped from China.
State police said in a statement Sunday that the package containing the drug was intercepted last week at Logan International Airport.
A state trooper posing as a FedEx driver delivered it to an address in Milford. The person at that address said he was accepting the package as a favor to someone else.
That person, later identified as David Sheehan, was arrested when he came to pick up the package.
Sheehan was granted $1,000 bail after pleading not guilty to drug offenses.
He told police he ordered the drug online.
Molly, or MDMA, is a pure form of ecstasy that can be deadly.
