$200,000 Bail Set For Man Accused Of Dunkin' Thefts

A Dedham man investigated in connection with a string of robberies at Dunkin' Donuts stores in eastern Massachusetts has been ordered held on $200,000 bail.

Isaiah Murphy pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Wednesday in Stoughton District Court on armed robbery charges in two robberies that occurred in Canton.

Authorities continue to investigate whether the 23-year-old Murphy is linked to more than 20 robberies.

According to The Boston Globe, Norfolk County prosecutor Chris Meade told the court that Murphy once worked at a Dunkin' Donuts in Westwood and left the job under "less than amiable" circumstances.

Murphy was arrested on Tuesday. Police said evidence found at his home linked him to the robberies.

Defense attorney Jim Gavigan said Murphy and his family were "devastated" by the charges.
