Independent McCormick Discusses Potential Run For Governor

The race for governor in Massachusetts is attracting a wide swath of candidates — some with political experience, some without.

Venture capitalist Jeffrey McCormick has filed papers to run as an independent candidate for governor but has yet to formally launch his campaign — which would be his first ever for public office. The 52-year-old joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss his potential candidacy.
