Storm Brings Little Accumulation, But Slick Roads

A storm system to our south brought a period of snow to the Boston area Monday morning. But as warmer air moved into the region, the snow changed over to rain.

There was a period of mixed precipitation after 8 a.m., but it was light and scattered.

Most areas will saw a coating to an inch of snow. Even Cape Cod has had some light accumulation this morning. It will turn mild from Martha's Vineyard to Nantucket and the south side of Cape Cod later Monday. Winds won't be strong, but could gust up to 30 miles per hour along parts of Nantucket, Dukes and Barnstable Counties.
