Inaugural Gala Caps Walsh's First Day In Office

Boston's new mayor, Marty Walsh, capped off his inauguration day celebrations Monday night with hours of locally-inspired live music, dance and comedy at the Hynes Convention Center.

Of course, Mayor Walsh himself was the headliner.

"I am so honored. When I walked off that podium today and people said 'Mr. Mayor,' I am so honored by that," Walsh said. "I can't tell you how proud I am, how honored I am to have the faith and trust of so many people."
