Man Found Dead On Smith College Grounds

Authorities are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered on the grounds of Smith College in the western Massachusetts town of Northampton.

A spokeswoman for the Northwestern district attorney's office says a passerby reported seeing the body on Saturday.

Spokeswoman Mary Carey says initial information led investigators to suspect no foul play in the death of the man she described as in his 30s.

Carey says the dead man does not appear to have any connection or affiliation to Smith College.

Authorities say additional information was not immediately available.
