Lukman Faily, Iraqi Ambassador To U.S., To Run Boston Marathon

The Iraqi ambassador to the U.S. is among the nearly 36,000 runners setting their sights on Boylston Street come Monday.

Ambassador Lukman Faily will be running his third marathon — his first Boston Marathon — and he joins Morning Edition from NPR studios in Washington D.C., to talk about why these 26.2 miles hold special meaning for him.
