Forecast: Sunny With Low Humidity And Slightly Cooler Temperatures

If you work all week, is there really a bad weekend? The good news is, again this weekend, the weather is going to cooperate.

I am expecting plenty of sunshine and warm temperatures over the next few days — it perhaps might even be a bit cool for some of you. All the big heat and humidity is going to remain south of the region and this will leave New England with temperatures typical for mid-August, if not on the lower side of average.

Today will be a day with clouds and sunshine. It won’t be as bright as yesterday, and it will be a bit cooler as well. The clouds are spinning around an upper level low and will be with us enough today to notice. These clouds will also keep temperatures on the cooler side, but I don’t expect any rain.

Saturday is the better of the two weekend days, but Sunday is nice as well, just not as nice. Saturday features more sunshine and temperatures a degree or two warmer than they will be Sunday. On Sunday, a front will cross the region, but the front is weak and will only bring a quick shower, if that.

If you are on vacation next week, it looks like it will start out great. Monday and Tuesday will be carbon copies of each other, with plenty of sunshine and comfortably warm readings.

A vigorous disturbance will bring showers back the area for Wednesday, however. There is some question if the rain will be widespread or just showers. Latest indications are showers will be very limited and not like we saw this Wednesday.

Friday: Partly sunny with highs in the mid 70s.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy and good for sleepign. Lows in the upper 50s.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and warm highs between 75-80 degrees.

Sunday: A blend of clouds and sunshine. A shower possible, especially during the first part of the day. Highs between 75-79 degrees.

Monday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 70s.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs remaining in the mid 70s.
