College students and professors are back in school, packing lecture halls and plowing through lesson plans. One local case study sure to make it onto the syllabus of some business courses around the country is the implosion and subsequent resurrection of the supermarket chain Market Basket.

John Davis, a senior lecturer at Harvard Business School, joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the teachable moments he's pulling from the Market Basket saga.

This segment aired on September 9, 2014.
