The fifth Boston Local Food Festival gets underway Sunday on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, showcasing farmers, food trucks, cooking demonstrations and more.

John Lee, general manager of Allendale Farm on the Boston/Brookline line, joins Morning Edition to talk about the explosion of interest in the local food movement he's witnessed recently, and for Bostonians, it's hard to get more local than Allendale. The farm, dating back to the 1700s, is the last remaining commercial farm in either Boston or Brookline.

This segment aired on September 12, 2014.
