Sparks flew Tuesday night at the first Boston-area televised debate among the five candidates running for governor of Massachusetts.

WBUR's Asma Khalid reports Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker jostled on taxes, health care issues and the Department of Children and Families.

Our latest WBUR poll has Coakley leading Baker by 2 points, 41-39.
