Boston Police Investigating Shooting Death Of Teen

Boston police say a 17-year-old boy has died after he was injured in a shooting last week in Charlestown.

Police say Sunday they responded to the shooting about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday and found the teenager suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital, where he has since died.

Homicide police are investigating but would not provide any further details Sunday.

A WBZ-TV report on the death of a teenager shot last week said a 19-year-old also was shot on the same occasion and was treated at the hospital and released Friday.
