2 Killed In Car Crash On Route 90 In Westborough

State police are investigating a car crash that killed two people and seriously injured two others on Route 90.

Police say the accident happened around 3:15 a.m. Thursday on the eastbound side of the Massachusetts Turnpike when the operator of a 2002 Honda Accord with five occupants was driving on a flat tire. The slow moving car was struck by a 2011 Dodge Ram pickup truck towing a boat trailer.

Two passengers in the Honda were killed. Two other passengers suffered serious injuries and were transported to UMASS Medical Center in Worcester. Their conditions are unknown. The Honda driver suffered minor injuries. The driver of the Dodge was treated and released at the scene.

Police are not yet releasing further information about the crash, including the victims' identities.
