PF Chang's Employee Fatally Stabbed By Co-Worker

Authorities say a PF Chang's employee was stabbed to death in the restaurant's kitchen during the dinner rush and a co-worker has been charged with his murder.

Officials say 23-year-old Jaquan Huston fatally stabbed 38-year-old Elivelton Dias, of Salem, in the back and then fled the scene.

The stabbing happened at PF Chang's in the Northshore Mall in Peabody.

An Essex County district attorney spokeswoman said a 911 call was placed at 5:41 p.m. on Saturday. The victim was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Huston was stopped by Salem police and charged with first-degree murder.

He is scheduled for arraignment Monday morning.

No phone listing was available for Huston. It is unknown if he has an attorney.
