Democratic Presidential Candidates Prepare For First Debate

The Democratic presidential candidates are preparing to debate Tuesday night in Las Vegas.

Top Democratic contenders former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will square off for the first time.

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, former U.S. Sen. Jim Webb and former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chaffee will also participate.

The Boston Globe's political reporter James Pindell is on the New Hampshire campaign trail and joined WBUR's Deborah Becker ahead of the debate.
