Weekend Forecast: Blustery Saturday, Slightly Warmer Sunday

High pressure brings colder and drier air for Friday. It will be quite blustery with a stronger wind especially in the afternoon. Lighter winds and clear skies bring radiational cooling overnight.

When you get up Saturday look for plenty of sunshine, but it will be near freezing in many areas. Highs only reach the lower 50s tomorrow as Canadian air takes over.

A return flow of milder air brings back the clouds Sunday. There might be a few showers later in the afternoon, but the clouds and near 60s degree air are the bigger story. The lack of rain continues and doesn’t look to end in the next five days.

There are signs by the middle of next week a weather system will finally bring some much needed rain to the area that could last for a day or two. More about this next week.

Friday: Sunny and blustery, with a high near 50

Friday night: Mostly clear, with a low 31-38

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high in the lower 50s

Sunday: Cloudy and milder, but with some afternoon showers. Highs near 60

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, highs 51-55
