Health Connector Open Enrollment Period Begins

The state agency that helps uninsured residents get health insurance launched open enrollment on Nov. 1. From now until Jan. 31, people can contact the Massachusetts Health Connector to pick a health plan and sign up.

In the past, problems with the connector's website made it difficult for people to navigate the system. Louis Gutierrez, executive director of the Massachusetts Health Connector, joined WBUR's Weekend Edition to talk about changes in the system this year.
