3 Arrested In Connection With Weekend Slaying In South Boston

Three people have been arrested in connection with a fatal weekend shooting in South Boston.

Police responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 425 Old Colony Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

The victim was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Witnesses told officers they saw a car speeding away with the occupants changing clothes. A short time later the vehicle was spotted in Dorchester and three occupants arrested.

The names of the suspects and the charges they face at arraignment Monday have not been announced. The victim's name has not been disclosed.

The slaying was the city's 33rd homicide of the year.
