Teen Killed, Another Injured After Daytime Shooting

Police say a shooting in Boston has left one teen dead and another wounded.

Police say the two teens were shot in the Mattapan neighborhood before 9 a.m. Tuesday.

One had non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to recover. The other died of his injuries.

No arrests have been announced.

Police Commissioner William Evans says it appears the victims were walking on the street when someone in a car confronted them and opened fire.

The shooting came during a messy morning for New England, which saw its first snow and sleet of the winter.
