Forecast: Stunning Weather For The Next 2 Days

There are days in May that are so special you can give them a 10. For me what makes a 10 is a combination of light winds, bountiful sunshine, low humidity and comfortable temperatures. Today and tomorrow we should see the weather execute on all of those variables making each of these days perfect for mid-May.

High pressure remains in control of the weather and will do so through Friday. The only complaint you could have is about the pollen. The lack of rain for several days allows pollen levels to rapidly climb. The tree pollen, which is what is present right now can make for a very uncomfortable time for those of you not taking any medicine and have allergies.

Our luck with the nice weather won’t last into the weekend. Of course, since the majority of people work Monday to Friday, we’d love to have this wonderful weather on Saturday and Sunday, but it’s not in the cards.

Two systems will approach and move through southern New England Friday through Sunday. Friday will be dry most of the day, but some showers should approach toward the evening commute and continue into the evening.

Saturday brings more clouds, some sun and another round of afternoon or evening showers. I’ll have a better idea of timing tomorrow.

Sunday is cooler with highs in the lower- to mid-60s and a blend of clouds and sunshine. This cool weather should last into next week.
