Cambridge Cyclist Dies After Being Struck By Truck

A bicyclist, who was struck by a truck in Cambridge Thursday, has died.

Amanda Phillips, 27, of Cambridge, was hit by a landscaping vehicle around 12:17 p.m. Thursday in Inman Square, according to a statement from the Middlesex County District Attorney's office.

She was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Investigators say the driver of the truck is cooperating.
