Boston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting In Dorchester

Boston police are investigating a fatal shooting in Dorchester Monday afternoon.

A man believed to be in his 20s was shot and killed in the area of 49 Bullard St., authorities said in a statement. Officers responded to a call about the shooting at 2:55 p.m.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
