Cambridge Woman Hit By Car On Memorial Drive Dies

A Cambridge woman who was struck by a car last weekend as she crossed Memorial Drive has died.

State police say 31-year-old Molly Doub was crossing Memorial Drive on foot near the Micro Center in Cambridge around 5 p.m. Sunday when she was struck by a car heading west.

Doub died from her injuries overnight Tuesday at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Police say the vehicle that struck Doub was driven by a 56-year-old Boston man but did not provide the driver's name.

In a statement released Wednesday, a spokesperson for the Massachusetts State Police said an investigation into whether criminal charges would be brought against the driver is ongoing.
