Forecast: Mild Few Days Ahead, Cooler Weekend

Wednesday morning comes with a chill in the air, as there's frost and temperatures down into the 30s in some areas.

The sunshine will start early, and clouds will appear throughout the day. Temperatures will be seasonable with highs in the 50s.

Thursday, temperatures get warmer, well into the 60s and maybe low 70s. There will be clouds, and I can't rule out an early shower.

Friday will be cloudy too, but there will be some sunny breaks. The hours of sunshine we get will determine how high temperatures will go. Most areas should reach the 70-degree mark, but if we see a little mid-day sunshine, mid-70s isn't out of the question.

A cold front sweeps through the area Friday night and brings back seasonably chilly air for the weekend.

And speaking of the weekend, it looks generally dry. Saturday will have the most sunshine and Sunday will be cloudy. Any showers should hold off until later Sunday afternoon or night.

Monday, as another cold front approaches, clouds and the risk of a shower will remain in the forecast. I don't see any heavy rain.

As a side note: now that it's November, many of you will be thinking about snow. November is the month where most often the first flakes fly, and there can even be some accumulation. The first chance of even seeing snowflakes will not come for another week and a half, if at all. So you can continue to rake your leaves without worry.
