MBTA Suspends Some Blue Line Service Due To Flooding

Citing "heavy flooding" at Beachmont station, the MBTA has suspended Blue Line service between Wonderland and Orient Heights, with no alternative service provided.

Other stops affected by the suspension are Revere Beach, Beachmont, and Suffolk Downs.

The harborside entrance to Aquarium Blue Line station in downtown Boston was also temporarily closed Thursday due to flooding, according to the MBTA. Customers were advised to use the State Street entrance and exit instead.

The T has also advised that all of its bus routes are running with moderate delays due to snowy roads and limited visibility.

Ferry service was suspended for the day due to blizzard conditions and ice in the harbor, and the commuter rail has been operating on a reduced schedule.km
