The state's first resort casino, MGM Springfield, opens Friday. That casino, along with Plainridge Park and the pending Wynn casino in Everett are expected to boost annual state tax revenue by around $250-300 million.

State Treasurer Deb Goldberg joined Morning Edition to talk about how the newest developments in gambling are affecting the state's pocketbook.
