Forecast: One Dry Day This Weekend And One Wet

The weekend is upon us and at least part of it will be dry. However, as we have seen so much in the past several months, at least one day is going to feature some rain. Today, we will look for a blend of clouds and sunshine and the wind will not be as gusty as it was yesterday. Temperatures will be similarly chilly generally in the low to mid-40s. I can't rule out an afternoon snow or rain shower.

Overnight readings will fall down into the 20s and lower 30s, quite typical for the final night of November. When we awake tomorrow, it will be the start of meteorological winter and it will be a very nice day, with plenty of sunshine and comfortably cool temperatures. This is a good day to get out and do some yard work or put some holiday lights around the yard.

There's a new storm system moving toward the northeast and this will bring a batch of rain for Saturday evening and the first part of Sunday. The rain likely holds off for the first part of the evening Saturday so if you have plans it does look like it will be dry.

When you get up Sunday morning it should be raining across much of the region and that rain continues at least through the early part of the afternoon. It should be over before the Patriots kickoff. If you're headed to do some tailgating be aware that there will be lingering showers.

The start of next week looks dry and the next series of storm systems could bypass us to the south, which would mean a bit of a break and all this storminess. We'll have to take another look at that as we head into the new work week and the new month.
