Former Transportation Secretary Weighs In On Departure Of MBTA General Manager

Luis Ramirez, who became MBTA general manager just 15 months ago, is out. He will be replaced by Steve Poftak, who's currently vice chair of the MBTA Fiscal and Management Control Board.

Jim Aloisi, former transportation secretary, spoke with WBUR for All Things Considered about the leadership change.
