Boston Police Charge Man With Murder In Jamaica Plain Shootout

Boston police say they've arrested a man involved in a shootout in Jamaica Plan Friday that left the other shooter dead.

Police charged Victor Rodriguez, 28, of South Boston with murder in the shooting. He is in police custody while being treated for a gunshot wound.

Officers were called to the area of 3100 Washington St. Friday around 3:30 p.m., where they found Rodriguez and another man, 28-year-old Carl Reynolds, of Roxbury, both with life threatening injuries. Reynolds later died at the hospital.
