Today's Weather: Boston Sees Warmest Day In Quite A While

Temperatures this afternoon will reach the 70s for the first time in quite a while, and there will be a bit of a breeze as the day progresses.

A cold front will cross the region late this afternoon and evening and bring in a few showers and perhaps even a gusty thunderstorm, so get outside early if you can.

Behind this front, we have another nice day for tomorrow, although temperatures will be cooler back into the 60s. The end of the week features another system moving toward New England. It will eventually bring some rain Thursday night and Friday.

Presently, the system should keep moving quickly enough that we may have our first nice weekend in a while as well. It's still early in the week and the forecast can change, but the early indications are for a nice Mother's Day. Here’s hoping we can deliver for Mom.
