State Police: No Injuries In School Bus, Tractor Trailer Crash In Andover

No injuries were reported after a school bus carrying 51 people crashed with a tractor trailer truck on Route 495 northbound in Andover on Tuesday morning, state police say.

State police said on Twitter that 42 students and 9 adults were on board the bus from Pyne Arts Magnet School in Lowell when it crashed near the Route 93 ramps shortly before 11 a.m.

Both vehicles were moved off the highway, and all lanes remain open, tweeted Jacquelyn Goddard, a spokeswoman for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.

Andover fire and emergency medical workers also responded to the crash.
