4 State Troopers Injured By Suspected Drunken Driver
Four Massachusetts State Police troopers have been injured in a crash involving a suspected drunken driver.
An agency spokesman says the troopers were in two cruisers conducting a traffic stop on Route 27 in Brockton at about 1 a.m. Monday when they were struck.
The troopers went to nearby Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
The troopers were field training officers and new graduates of the state police academy. No names were released.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the cruisers was arrested at the scene. No name was disclosed.
