Man Dies After Being Stabbed In East Boston

A man has died after being stabbed multiple times in East Boston on Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded to a call near 36 West Eagle St. at about 11:24 p.m., where they found the victim suffering from stab wounds, Boston police said in a statement. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died, police said.

No information about the victim's identity has been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
