Today's Weather: Another Chilly April Day

A cold front crossed the area Tuesday, and now we have Canadian air back with us, so temperatures will stay in the 40s all day in spite of  sunshine. In addition to the cool temperatures on Wednesday, it's going to be a bit blustery, with wind chill readings in the 20s.

That's right, we'll have a wind chill today.

Thursday is a better day, with more sunshine and temperatures getting into the 50s. This nice weather is not going to last, unfortunately. Another weather system quickly approaches Thursday night. This particular system will bring rain and a cold rain, and there's a chance of snow up in the higher elevations of northern New England. It seems like January and February were like March, and March was like March, and now April is like March.

We do have some nice weather for the weekend. Since the Friday system is moving fairly quickly, Saturday brings about a return to sunshine. Temperatures will get into the 50s, perhaps near 60. This is definitely the day you want to get outside and enjoy the lack of chill and rain.

Another rainstorm approaches on Sunday. Temperatures once again will be cooler than average because of the cloud cover and the precipitation. The March-like pattern continues to start the new workweek. Sorry folks.
