WATCH LIVE: Top U.S. Health Officials Testify On Reopening Before Senate

The country's leading experts are set to testify Tuesday before the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions about the path forward to safely reopening schools and workplaces.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director Robert Redfield and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci are among those scheduled to speak.

NPR reports that Fauci's main message to lawmakers will be "the danger of trying to open the country prematurely."
