Man Killed In Dorchester Shooting Saturday Afternoon

Boston police are investigating a fatal shooting in the city's Dorchester neighborhood Saturday afternoon.

Officers were called to respond to shots fired near 82 Wheatland Avenue at around 4 p.m. Saturday. A man found in a hallway at the scene was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The man's name has not been released. No arrests have been made. Police said this is the city's 18th homicide of the year.
