Roxbury Shooting Leaves 1 Dead And 2 Wounded

A man is dead and two others were injured in a Roxbury shooting Friday night, according to Boston police.

Just before 8 p.m., police responded to the shooting in the area of Hammond and Westminster Streets in Roxbury. Three men were found at the scene suffering from "apparent gunshot wounds," Boston police said in a statement on Saturday.

The victims were rushed to nearby hospitals, and one man with life-threatening injuries later died of his wounds. The two other men have non-life-threatening injuries, authorities said.

As of Saturday, the victims have not been identified by police.
