2 dead, 1 injured following a spate of shootings in Roxbury and Dorchester
Two men are dead and another person is in critical condition after three shootings took place across Boston Sunday night. Two other people were stabbed in Dorchester late Sunday and are expected to survive.
At 7:47 p.m. on July 30, Boston police responded to a call about a person shot in the area near Blue Hill Avenue and Washington Street in Roxbury. A man approximately 30 years of age was found by police suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Hours later, at 11:08 p.m., police responded to another report of shots fired at the intersection of Weldon and Quincy streets in Roxbury. The victim, an adult man, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

At 11:32 p.m., police in Dorchester responded to a report of an adult shot at 99 Draper St. The victim was found indoors and transported to a local hospital. His injuries are considered life-threatening, according to police.
Minutes later, police responded to a report of two people stabbed at the intersection of 11 Charles St. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Police say officers are investigating each case, and it remains unclear if any of the crimes are related.
