The New Ball Game

Lots of people - some disingenuous pro athletes, for example - say of their work, "I'd do it for free." If Steve Holmes says it, you can probably believe him. His "work" has been the production of a documentary film entitled "The New Ball Game," and it required him to visit lots of minor league baseball parks.

"The New Ball Game" celebrates what Steve Holmes found, of course, and much of his discovery is worthy of celebration: players who delight fans with their energy and enthusiasm, tickets inexpensive enough so that a family of four can attend a game without the assistance of a bank officer, and ballparks built for folks who have no particular interest in luxury accomodations.

You can learn more about "The New Ball Game" by visiting Steve's website.
