Sabre Rattling in Buffalo

By winning their first ten games this season, the Buffalo Sabres streaked to the top of the northeast division of the eastern conference. The team tied the NHL record for best start ever and beat the Bruins Thursday night with a late comeback. Going into tonight's game against Toronto the Sabres high-powered offense leads the league in goals scored. Bill has the story of the remarkable run.

During his nine seasons as a fullback for the Cleveland Browns, Jim Brown established himself as a superb professional football player. Though his records have since fallen to running backs that played for more than nine seasons, Brown is still considered by some to be the greatest ball-carrier. According to Mike Freeman, who has recently written a biography of Jim Brown, the former fullback is also an American hero.
