Baseball season is still months away, but there certainly hasn’t been a lack of news this week, as Alex Rodriguez admitted on Monday to using steroids between 2001 and 2003. ESPN’s Buster Olney joins Bill to discuss what A-Rod’s admission means for the game and the lasting effect that steroids will have on America’s pastime.

With President Obama’s inauguration long past, the hot ticket in Washington is to the Verizon Center for Capitals hockey. The team looks like they’re headed to the playoffs for the second straight year and are led by one of the NHL’s brightest and most exciting stars: Alexander Ovechkin. Virginia Biggar reports from Washington on the Capitals’ Russian rock star.
