Nearly 20% of soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan have experienced a traumatic brain injury, and thousands more suffer from depression and post-traumatic stress. To help those veterans and their families, the Boston Red Sox have started the Home Base Program, which offers free care to veterans suffering from brain injuries and PTSD.
